Punjab Livestock & Dairy Development Board (PLDDB) is a Section 42 not-for-profit company working under the administrative control of the Livestock & Dairy Development Department, Government of the Punjab.
PLDDB is mandated to conserve indigenous livestock breeds, promote modern dairy farming, strengthen livestock productivity, facilitate technology transfer, and support public-private partnerships for sustainable livestock development.
Through its flagship Livestock Experiment Station (LES), Khizerabad, PLDDB demonstrates innovative livestock production systems, breed conservation programmes, modern fodder production technologies, silage commercialization, and sustainable resource management practices.
