PLDDB is committed to conserving and improving Pakistan’s valuable indigenous livestock genetic resources through scientific herd management and selective breeding programmes.

The Farm presently maintains purebred herds of:

• Sahiwal Cattle
• Kajli Sheep
• Beetal Goats

These breeds are being preserved for genetic improvement, multiplication of superior breeding stock, and dissemination of quality germplasm to livestock farmers across Punjab.
