Punjab Livestock & Dairy Development Board (PLDDB) is a Section 42, not-for-profit company established by the Government of Punjab to promote sustainable development of the livestock and dairy sector. Through research, innovation, demonstration farms, capacity building, and strategic partnerships, PLDDB works to improve livestock productivity, strengthen food security, and enhance the livelihoods of farming communities across Punjab.
With a strong focus on modern livestock management, fodder development, quality feed production, genetic improvement, and value-added dairy practices, PLDDB serves as a catalyst for transforming the livestock sector into a productive, competitive, and sustainable industry.
PLDDB also manages and develops the Livestock Experiment Station (LES), Khizerabad, one of Punjab’s premier demonstration and livestock production facilities, where modern livestock, dairy, fodder, and agricultural practices are showcased for replication across the province.
